To work with yellow is for me to entre in the area of mental illness, melancholy and of deep sadness. I want to generate images very difficult to freeze, but on which I insist.
What do I try then with the Suicide Transplant?
Most of people who ever experienced suicide, were happy to be alive. They say that they didn’t want to die; they only wished to avoid sadness. Suicide appeared like an option to put an end to their intolerable suffering. Suicide Transplant would materialize this situation: many people have felt directly or indirectly, depression and suicidal instinct in their lives. If they had the opportunity to approach this experience and visualize the end of suffering, they would re-enlist again to life. In this process is where Suicide Transplant materializes.
